The solution is engineered for the L.R. Group of Companies (manufacturers of Jubilee Clips) to take over from a network of spreadsheets and simple databases and work alongside an off-the-shelf business mangagement solution.

Written in VB 6.0, with MS-SQL server backend and an ASP web interface, this project is still in the early stages of development although it has been in production use for more than two years now.

BS 9000 requires businesses to store a register of all their quality-control related documents such as process diagrams, procedures, blueprints and schematics and manuals. This software stores this information in a simple to use, easy to access online database that lets you track who is revising what documents, automatically notify issuees if their document is out of date and keep a record of the location of all your documents - both on and offline.

Being web based the software requires no client-side installation and can be installed on an intranet or internet server, depending on the level of interest I will probably provide managed hosting for the software at a very reasonable price. verdoc is build in php and is compatible with most major database server software, although it is tailored for mysql.
